Up Close and Personal with Animals

We had a fun trip to Davis Farm. You are actually walking around and playing and petting and feeding the animals. Really a wonderful place. Josh was a big fan of the bugs and birds, while Ali liked the goats and milking the pretend cow!

The following day Joshee went for his first ride on the Carousel downtown!

And then in Montreal Zaide treated us to a horse and buggy ride. What fun!

A picture is worth a thousand words

We HEART Needham

What a day! What a community.

We began at Barn Babies this morning. Barn Babies is a traveling group of baby animals that get swaddled up and passed around to the kids. They had a pig, puppies, goat in a diaper, chickens, bunnies and kittens. Josh and Ali were in heaven.

After Barn Babies Ali ran her first "marathon"...the Great Bear Race. She got a number, found her way to the START line and when the man shouted 1,2,3, go...she was off like to wind. What a winner! What a proud little girl. What a fun day! After the race Ali got her very own award and teddy bear.

Where we are

It is amazing to me how fast these kids grow. And even more amazing to me that I am their mother. How blessed I am. Sometimes, seriously, I need to pinch myself and stop staring at them. A year ago Ali's face would have been covered in Popsicle, but now she uses a napkin and takes tiny bites. And Josh, well, this picture speaks a thousand words.

And, Ali. She may enjoy squeezing Josh and seeing mommy more then dancing but when she concentrates she is quite the ballerina!

Oh Josh and Ali. On one hand, keep growing up. Keep growing, dancing, loving....but on the other hand, stay small and tiny and oh, just stay yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
