Isn't that the way.....
We had the perfect day planned. It would begin with a pancake breakfast, followed by a day in Boston. Swan Boats, picnics, shopping! And then....
Ali got sick. And sick again....
So the "perfect day" was put to the wayside and a new plan was put in action for Mother's Day.
We snuggled in bed and watched Mickey Mouse Club.
We snuggled on the couch and read books. Amos and Boris is a new favorite.
We snuggled on the floor and made princess tiaras and bracelets.
We snuggled in Ali's bed and she drifted off to sleep in my arms.
And you know what.... it was a PERFECT day. An absolutely PERFECT day.
And I never knew till I was a mother how much a snuggle means.
