When you are surrounded by bubbly three-year olds stopping to smell the flowers is a daily occurrence on the way to and from preschool at Ms. Judy's. "Mom, you need to bend down and smell". And you know what, I did. And I loved it. I had packing to do, laundry to fold, lunch to make, but at that moment...the exact moment of smelling the pink tulips, none of that was on my mind. I was only occupied with how fresh and sweet the flowers smelled. Thank you little girl for reminding me of the important things in life.
Funny isn't it, how weeds to some, are the most "beautiful flowers in the world" to some. Or as Ali tells me, "Mommy, I think dandelions are the perfect flower for a princess".
